Whole Foods Is Opening Chain With Lower Prices
Same quality, lower prices.
Whole Foods announced that they will be opening a sister chain of markets that are cheaper and cater to Millennials. You know, those who have to choose whether to skip paying off school loans or be malnourished.
Half Foods? Partial Foods? Sorta, Kinda Foods?
Thankfully, the company promises that the stores will maintain their same quality, so it won’t just be 30,000 square feet of organic ramen noodles.
Whole Foods co-CEO Walter Robb said the new locations will have “modern, streamlined design, innovative technology and a curated selection” and that they’ll interest “anyone looking for high-quality fresh food at great prices.”
Is it just me or does this mean that anyone who shops at a full-priced Whole Foods will now be really pissed?
The new stores will begin opening sometime next year. Are you excited or are you going to take a “wait and see” attitude?
