98 Raw Foods Cut Into Perfect Cubes Is A Feast For The Eyes

And you thought slicing a cucumber was too labor intensive.

And you thought slicing a cucumber was too labor intensive.

“I’ll have the New York steak, medium-rare… with broccoli, cheese toast and a baked potato. Oh, and I’d like each piece of everything cut up into equal 2.5 cm cubes.”

No, that isn’t a request from an anal-retentive restaurant customer (you know who you are), but a similar order was recently placed.

The visual design team of Lernert & Sander was hired by Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant to create a picture for their documentary photography special. The only caveat was that it had to revolve around food.

The duo then got the very unique idea to cut pieces of unprocessed food into equal cubes. They also inadvertently inspired a new game… raw food Jenga!

So far I can see kiwi, mushroom, cheese, watermelon… What else can you spot?
